I have a weird hobby. While everyone else is playing video games like Candy crush I play rescue. In the past four months I have matched up and reunited about 15 owners with their pets online. I have a really great photographic memory unless it is my keys or phone and it helps. It only takes a few moments a day to look at Craigs, the paper, the shelter website and the lost and found page for this town, Navarre, Pensacola and Walton county. It sort of blows my mind a little that someone would own a dog like a husky and not check the radius they are capable or running or tracking a scent in a day. I am writing this tonight after Yorkie after Yorkie has been taken from Navarre along with other small easy to grab dogs. The police department is reuniting an owner tonight with two of her dogs, two teacup Yorkies that were stolen from her backyard and attempted to be sold on Craigs far enough away where she has to fly to go get them in only 5 short days they were missing. Our Moby is very ill tonight and I am hoping a little doggie karma will help us either have him for a few more years or idk. I hate this aging part. :( Anywhoooo be aware, be alert and never doubt there are total creeps out there that will do anything for $$$ even take two puppies from a four year old.
