I have always enjoyed the ol vegge patch but up until this season I have often got easily distracted... I was disappointed when, after approval from the real estate to dig up garden bed, I found it was full, top to bottom with rocks. The garden bed itself gets a perfect 6-8 hrs sun a day and is ideal for edibles! Next best solution, gather up anything that can be used as a pot, and I mean anything that either has drainage holes or that drainage holes can be added to, fill it with soil and add seeds and seedlings!! I am so totally in love with this style of garden! Pots can be moved to deter pests, and based on sun and weeding is so simple. And it looks stunning! I planted most on the 9/10/14 but as you can see from the pics many have been added since then! Can wait to start harvesting my own seeds and hopefully creating my own crop of self sustaining edibles :-)
