I have always shared how much I love growing up in the south - TopicsExpress

I have always shared how much I love growing up in the south (Mississippi). But, my heart and prayers goes out to LA Actors: Ms. Cherie Johnson and Mr. Dennis L. A. White. I have always accepted the history of the south. But, refused to let it define who I am as an individual. I am grateful that both Cherie and Dennis shared their story regarding racial profiling with the social media. I just watched their interview with CNN. I have worked in Health Care for over 21 years. As a Registered Nurse, I am well aware that emotional/psychological trauma can leave a more devastating impact than physical trauma. Cherie rest assure that your tears of sadness and disbelief is felt around the country. My 14 year old daughter Janet described during one of her anti-bullying interviews that being bullying left a scar on her heart. A scar that no one can see. Unfortunately Cherie, this incident may have left a scar on your heart, as well as, thousands of others that care about in-justice. I personally do not tolerated in-justice, bullying by any character, and that includes BULLYING WHILE WEARING A BADGE. I pray that you and Dennis continue to use your voice peacefully, respectfully and in unity to increase awareness that will unite and empower all people & race.
