I have always wanted to do research analyzing human behavior through social networks.In one of the amazing study of the social network behind the Occupy movement shows that the most vocal participants were highly connected before the protests began but have now largely lost interest, say social network researchers. Today, we get an answer of sorts thanks to the work of Michael Conover and buddies at Indiana University in Bloomington. These guys have studied the flow of information across Twitter related to the Occupy Wall Street movement before and after the protests began. Raj Sikarwar when you join Twitter let me know if it has an active research group involved in such studies. Would be refreshing to do an internship/project in such areas.
