I have an appreciation for Mary now that I never had before becoming a mother. I never thought about her role in the story of Jesus that much as its not widely talked about and not much is presented about her feelings on the events. But to be a mother and go through watching those events happen to her son who she grew and gave birth to and raised, I cant even imagine. Yes he is the Son of God but firstly to her, he was HER son.
