I have an area in our front yard which, aside from three tiger lily bushes, is mostly weeds at this time of year. Im going to hit it with organic weed killer: vinegar, salt and Dawn dish soap, but have read that wood chips, NOT mulch, naturally surpresses weed regrowth. Anyone have any idea where I can get some cheap...or even FREE? I know some counties offer them at their recycling centers. The closest place I saw anything, however, is Elizabeth. We have a neighbor who would probably agree to pick them up pin his truck for us - just need to find some. I know tree services have them secondary to branch removal but those I checked out charge a fair amount. Would appreciate any and all input and/or suggestions.
