I have been alive for 6178 days. Of those days, I have spent - TopicsExpress

I have been alive for 6178 days. Of those days, I have spent slightly less than 33% in school. 33%, kids. 1/3 of my life has been direct legal education/brainwashing for the purpose of converting me into a respectable, conformist member of future society, and to convince me that my duty is to add to the countless members of the middle class and live out my life quite effectively as a piece of a collection of laborers. Because thats what our job is. But I digress. The point is, that rather impressive fraction, which given the relationship of school days to not school days and my projected college career, will remain unchanged until I reach age 22. We spend a huge chunk of arguable the most important stage in our lives on something that is irrelevant until much later. You CAN teach an old dog, and old humans, new tricks. Now, of course, all I really have is criticism of the system, I cant offer any viable alternatives. (Theres my concessions. This is now a valid persuasive paper. Glad I spent 1/3 of my life getting that down) My point is, how do you feel, now that you know that 66%, a fail grade, of your life has been spending time with friends and family, and generally enjoying yourself? By the system that these people themselves created, you have numerically failed at all social relationships as well as being a happy and well rounded individual. Congratulations. Theres your positive thought of the day. And I want you all to know that Im gradually brainwashing you with my deep statuses, but its ok because the government has been doing worse to you for 33% of you life. Goodnight, mortals.
