I have been asked on more than one occasion how having a large family is any different than having an orphanage. People have even said, Oh, you have your own little orphanage. NO!!!! I do not. I have a family, where children know they are loved and will never be alone. Where they are cared for and receive the medical care they need. Where they are supported and helped to be the best they can be. The thing that has always gotten me when I have visited an orphanage is how sterile and quiet they are. Its full of hundreds of children and its so very quiet. Now I know my children are noisier than most, but Im sure you can understand the point Im trying to make.
