I have been awake since 6am because I attempted to go to bed at 6pm last night! Yesterday was a long and crazy day, it started at 3:30am and went nonstop until my arrival in my bed, BUT I wouldnt have changed a thing! I got to see one of my Fishers Tri-Kappa sisters, Melanie Woodard, recognized as a survivor and ambassador at the 2014 St.Vincent Cancer Walk, I watched as the VIPs for this years event enjoyed their goodies, massages, and wine in the VIP tent that has been a year in the making, and I got to meet some amazing people that are fighting this horrible disease but left yesterday with so much hope in their eyes! As if that wasnt enough, shortly after closing ceremonies, it was time to hit the road to meet two little boxer babies for the beginning of their transport to a new life! Yes yesterday was long but it was a blessing! Last year Melanie was still fighting for her life, this year we celebrated her as a survivor! Just a few months ago Rusty and Beth were fighting for their lives at an animal shelter, now they are safe and on the road to new homes! I cant thank my family and friends enough for supporting me, my passions, and for always providing me with free labor!
