I have been following posts from old school friends.........reading about their ups and downs, their struggles and their victories, their children and their grandchildren, the joys and sorrows of growing up and growing older. Time marches on, and the busyness of life can sometimes overtake our desire to take the time to reach out and connect with those we shared our youth with. Though I read their thoughts on Facebook and think of them, I rarely have the time for that personal conversation, the chance to look them in the eye and say I care.........the chance to laugh at memories of our youth and share the adventure of growing older........and hopefully wiser. To those friends I say lets not let lifes day to day routines rob us of time to share a bit of our lives. We wont be here forever. Lets seize the opportunity for a few laughs.........and maybe some tears......together while we can. Its time to reunite and reconnect. Lets come up with a simple plan.....a date, a time, and a place, and lets take the time to simply enjoy those who impacted our lives, probably more than they realize. Lets do it..........
