I have been following this issue of $1.5million on Vuvuzela and $90,000 on some hotel bills in NPP during the campaign. And some people are saying we shouldnt talk about this because it is in the NPP? How did that reckless expenditure come by? My interest to talk about this has nothing to do with denigrating Nana Addo. As a matter of fact some of us have been briskly campaigning for Nana Addo on the ground and on social media but that doesnt preclude me from questioning how this $1.5Million and $90,000 brouhaha came about. Charity begins at home, he who calls for equity must come with absolutely clean hands. Some of us have been chastising President John Dramani Mahama and his National Democratic Congress for reckless spending, crass corruption, sheer thievery and gross financial malfeasance. We therefore must have the same balls to talk about similar occurences in the NPP. We are campaigning for Nana Addo and the NPP because Ghana needs a paradigm shift in leadership, we need a new leadership with integrity in this country, we need a new leadership to turn things around and do things differently better. Even it is his own money, so what?? Ghanaians are looking up to the Npp to give them a better leadership and as such we must epitomize what we preach. GOOD MORNING.
