I have been graciously given a wonderful life. I deserve none of it and yet Im so very thankful for it. For years Ive struggled with come quickly, Lord Jesus. When others would say it, I always felt like I was holding back. Ive thought of everything Id like to accomplish, places Id like to see, my children growing up, having grandchildren, living to a beautiful old age with Henry. Slowly, Ive begun to feel differently and today its my prayer. While I love this life Ive been given and hope to enjoy whatever time Im given, I hear of the horrid, unspeakable and unfathomable evils taking place all over the world, in our own nation and northern Iraq in particular and I want this world to be over. I want its sufferings to cease. I want the world on its knees, bowing and confessing his name. I want him to make all things new and right. Praying for overflowing grace, strength and peace for the persecuted. Praying for a mighty turning of hearts in those who are ferociously gripped in evil, and praying for His swift return.
