I have been hesitant about writing this, but somehow an urge rose from the depth of my core. That I need to let it be known. I have decided to kick this door down that was forcefully shut in my face, believe many of you would relate and absorb what lights a spark in your life. Generally we all encounter trials, some are self-created and others forced upon us. In my mind the word trial speaks of a test to serve as proof that you are competent or incompetent, for a specific task, however first reaction most express, is fear and doubt in oneself, which I believe is normal at first glance. This is where I believe we need to sit back, do introspection and decide to get ourselves on track, on the way to conquering that trial. I was recently plagued with many afflictions, the kind that would leave one tired of pushing for a future or a legacy for that matter, but what stood out during this time, was: 1- Faith, Knowing that God is the Great I am. He will never forsake me. He is my Rock, my Provider, my Advocate and He is the Great Lion of Judah and if He commanded a mountain to move, it will move and then crumble, that is what I believe. 2- I know myself in Christ. I am not the tail, but the head. I am more than a conqueror. I am loved unconditionally. Knowing all this, those afflictions felt like a breeze through hair. I have gained more than what I have lost. Every time, pride wants to stick its head out, I am reminded of what God has done and who God is. The image I need you to see clear, is the fact that when in a bended position, or down and out on the ground, weary with just a few breaths left, that is the time you need to use to seek God, for it is in your weakness, that His strength is made perfect. Embrace your setbacks, tell the enemy to give his best shot, but remind him of who you are, rub it in his face of reason he got an interest in you, that is the fact that he knows your worth and favour that rests upon your life.
