I have been involved in numerous tours for breed societies in Australia over the past seven years. Although involved in the preparation for the AWHA Ltd 2014 Assessment Tour and the logistics throughout, I can honestly say I have never learnt so much from one tour. Not only did I learn very important elements on how we as an Association can move forward in the future and how to provide more to our members, I also learnt more about breeding decisions and the resultant impact on the progeny produced. This has made me think very hard about the future direction of my breeding program as well as how we as an Association wish to move the Australian Warmblood forward. It was fantastic to be told something and say, I dont understand. Can you please show me? Both Joanne and Lynne were extremely forthcoming in information, both constructive feedback and positive praise. This tour has really made an impression on me. I am very proud to be a part of the AWHA Ltd and look forward to the years to come. Shanna Antrim of Harris Park Warmbloods and Director on the AWHA Ltd Federal Board: harrisparkwarmbloods.au
