I have been living in the US for 41 1/2 years. I had lived with this Caucasian retired & wonderful Lady in Northeast of Long Beach in Southern California during my first 4 years in the US in 1974 while attending City Compton College of South Central Los Angeles. This very caring and retired Hairdresser and Beauty Salon Owner from this beautiful Belmont Shore and Landlady of mind had been able to teach me and all of her former students/tenants and to instill all us with good old times and great American Family VALUES. (y) :) She had moved there from Nebraska when they first built the first FREEWAY in Pasadena and in the NATION called Pasadena Freeway. She had been able to survive on her own after her 2nd husband also died on her until she retired to live a FIXED INCOME from her small Social Security Benefits. Therefore, she was forced to rent out her other 2 Rooms to only male foreign and College students like me back then. She had very bad experiences for renting her 2 rooms to female College students that they were bringing so many guys to her house and to guys born and raised in the US with no Respect to Elder. :) She had 3 children 1 son and 2 daughters. Her older son was a retired General from the US Air Forces then a Real Estate Broker. Here first daughter is a PhD and a Professor teaching in the University in Arizona. Her 2nd and younger daughter is delinquent high school student, mom and a single mother with 2 sons and a daughter from 3 different guys. Both of her grandsons were also delinquent due to being raised by dysfunctional parents. Her niece seemed to be a good kid when I was there. She was about 9-10 years old then. Hope she would at least be the first to earn her high school Diploma made in life??? I could only feel bad for them but I couldnt feel sorry for them. To be continued folks..... :)
