I have been mulling over for a while now what to do about nights and formats. Since Augusts schedule is already up I am not making changes until next month, but I have decided on simplifying things. I am telling you all this now so that you are aware of what is on the horizon. Here is what I have arrived at: Tuesday will remain Legacy night. No more two headed giant. This will have a $2 buy in for prize support. The first Friday of the month will be for Draft. There will always be a fee for Drafting. Right now it is $10. The remaining Fridays of the month are Standard. These will be free events. Prize support will be promo cards as long as we get them from WOTC. I expect these turn outs to be epic since I have heard so much complaining about entry fees. Dont disappoint me on this, please. No more two headed giant. The 2nd and the 4th Saturday of the Month we will have a draft. I know there are some of you that like drafting as much as I do. The only other events that I will sanction are things like 2015 Game Day and Khans of Tarkir game Day. WOTC does a nice job of offering cool events and I will participate in all of those that I can including prereleases and the like. I will announce prerelease dates as far in advance as I can so that we can get preregistration and have as many events as possible. All of this will make my life so much easier and the schedule less complicated. I might even quit blowing up everyones facebook once or twice a month. I also suggest that we make use of Thursday night for casual play. It is a great time to get your deck dialed in for the Friday event.
