I have been overwhelmed with all the congratulations! Thank you all, I am truly humbled. I have tried to respond individually to everybody but may have failed due to all the different places these messages have come in, but I appreciate everybody taking time to wish us well. I also appreciate everybody who thought the congratulations were because Cammie was pregnant. Believe me that I worked as hard to achieve that as I did promotion , but an Army promotion board appears to be more convinced that I can handle additional responsibility than my wife is convinced we can handle another baby Benefield. We still miss Alaska and this is still one of my least favorite places, but God did remind me that I have been selected for promotion the last two times I have been assigned here, so I guess I need to count my blessing, love all these weirdos who cant drive, and shut my pie hole about the DC area (but the flesh is weak). Thank you all again and forgive me if my thank yous dont keep up with your congratulations - I do have a pregnant wife to take care of after all;-)
