I have been reading everyones daily progression of the things they are thankful and/or blessed for, and I am torn... Being able to choose which blessing I should relate first is nearly an impossible task for me. I thank God for pulling me through early years which were more than challenging. I thank him for the miracles he has wrought in my life allowing me to keep on kicking when by all rights I should have died. I thank him for the brothers and sisters I have no matter where they came from as each one is precious to me whether they realize it or not. I thank him for giving me multiple Dads without each of whom there would be countless blessings that I would never trade for anything. I thank him for my family, blood, adopted, extended and beyond without each of which I would not be the person I am today. I thank him for my church which has helped me to see where I came from, where I need to grow, and where I am heading in the future when Christ calls me home. I thank God for blessing me with those special people in my life who I love more dearly than they will ever know because words are never enough. I am so thankful for the son that God has blessed me with. It goes even deeper though. I thank God for NOT answering those prayers spoken when I was upset or asking for selfish things. For allowing me to experience imperfect situations so that I could grow spiritually. I thank Him for my children who didnt have a chance to grow with me here on Earth but will be waiting on me when I get to Heaven so we can experience the joy of Gods love together. I thank Him for each tear I have shed, each heartache I have endured, and each tribulation that has been set in my path as each of these have served not to shake my faith in Him but to strengthen it day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. There is just so much to be thankful for, so many blessings, that I couldnt settle for one a day. Rather than stick to a one blessing a day approach, I have chosen to concentrate on express my thankfulness for Heavenly Father himself who loves us so very much that he sent Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, to be the perfect sacrifice without Whom we would be lost. Psalms 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
