I have been seeing an upswing in suicides this past few months and mostly with the young kids out there. Living is hard. In todays world, it can be absolutely overwhelming. My heart hurts for those kids and those families. Its so hard to realize that there is a purpose for it all. I know sometimes, we dont see how, but I promise...there is. When I had my accident, I never thought I would not be able to walk for so many years. And when that happened, I wanted to give up. I did actually for awhile. It took even more hardship for me to realize that God was giving me a wake up call to open my eyes and use the strength He has given me to pick myself up and keep on going. As hard as it was, I learned from it all. Now I have people who contact me who are dealing with the things I have dealt with. Hopefully, I can help them get through it easier than I did. Bottom line...I learned from it and became stronger for it. If you are at the depths of your rope....reach out and ask for help. There is no shame in that. It takes strength and courage to ask for help and we all have that strength if we just allow it to pull us up and get us back on our feet. :) xoxo Happy Monday!
