I have been stung three times this summer by small waspy things. This is three more times than I have ever been stung in my entire life…….They don’t normally have fear of me but……………What are they doing to me??????? Two months ago I put some fencing up on top of the garden shed and didn’t see a nest under the eaves of the shed! YOWWWWWW! Two deep and painful stings……..I squealed LOUD! My face blew up like a clown balloon face and my left arm was semi paralyzed for about three days…..not even doing the washing up or typing was comfortable and sometimes not even possible. It subsided after a few days and I removed the nest for fear…………………..of disturbing the little dears again…….!! Every year a tribe of hornets make a nest in my enormous chestnut trees. I do not exaggerate they are some 50 metres high!!!. We have a battle in the evenings when they are drawn to the light and of course in Late August early September they are rampant as the nights cool somewhat! Three nights ago I went into my office where I found five hornets jumping around in what they clearly thought an insecta-ride at a funfair! Helter-skelter heaven wasn’t in it! I ran downstairs and picked up implements and also some waspy spray stuff. I hoped to scare them off rather than kill them off. No chance. No chance whatsoever. They were loving their horney hornet high-fiving too much. Finally I picked up the spray can and aimed its lethal dose. Sure they died straight away! BUT they roasted inside the wall light that was set on fire by the lethal dose. The flames crept toward my ceiling beams and I swatted at the flames with a damp towel or two and finally it extinguished itself leaving black marks on wall and beam. BUT considering the flames and the burnt offerings of hornet kind there was less damage than might have been in the circumstances. I WENT TO BED and ignored the whole thing. Exhausted from some fumes and muscles strained from swatting big bugs. My shoulder has still not recovered! Today I was spraying with water into the hornet’s nest in the chestnut tree and finally they decided to up root and move to a better hornet hostelry. High dudgeon wasn’t in it! Two or three made swirling movements swiftly inside the house but gave up and took their lethal anger elsewhere. The locals are terrified of everything and I felt wrong trying to continue to live alongside the stinging samurais with people walking under these trees every day! Peace is almost restored and I went to the shed again to find another waspy penthouse had been built over night in the eaves of the shed! One saw and greeted me accordingly with a tiny stingette on my RIGHT arm this time. Oh joy. Oh rapture. Oh boring. Actually it is not too bad! Fortunately. Never in my life before and I wondered why now. I fled to my computer and looked up my favourite website which shows the spiritual significance of hundreds of animals and insects and creatures. I knew bees were signifying celebration so I hoped these waspy warriors were not too unpleasant in their message. For many months I have been looking at why I find it difficult now to be assertive in certain areas as in the past I would have fought for my rights and wrongs too! I asked spirit for more edge, more assertion and more loving warrior energy. Not based on anger as I used to dominate in theatres and meetings in the past. Not using aggression or resentment but in a loving secure and decisive way for the future. I knew it was because I didn’t really want to use negative masculine energy any more but I sought for a powerful replacement! Well, I suspect by now you have guessed it. The hornets and wasps signify Feminine spiritual warrior energy. Oh boo. So that why they have had open FIELDS-day this year. The first stings came immediately, within an hour after taking some flower essences from Isha Lerner which are for clearing the aura. Powerful magic these essences. But avoid lethal insects when you take ‘em. Hee hee! I feel loved. I feel wonderful.
