I have been watching footage of the Turbo Charged Formula One cars from the 80s, driven by the likes of Mansell, Prost, Senna and Patrese. I am left in awe of the tremendous power those cars had. 1400 horsepower. that is almost double the power of the current Formula One cars of today. One would have to live on the ragged edge of life to drive one of those monsters. Imagine entering the Parabolica at Monza doing 150MPH and manually changing gears and steering one handed for the start finish straight. One would imagine that in order to achieve such a thing, a set of balls of the steel kind and a mustache would be mandatory...
