I have been working on my anti muslim bigotry. Believe it or not, this actually helps. It demonstrates that muslims are not the only ass holes on earth and that fact makes it just a bit easier to sort of give them a pass. My anti anti-muslim project is a work in progress. I make no claim of success just yet. But I am unused to failing in such tasks. It takes time and determination. Plus the realization that my feelings towards muslims is unfair. The problem is not with all muslims. It is with the extremeists. The mental part is not the problem. The part that is the real problem is that every day I listen to several stories about horrible atrocities committed by muslim extremists and it has an effect on a visceral level. Sometimes I feel like I wish the president would turn Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Somalia into green glass. Now I have to add South Sudan, Nigeria and Uganda to my list. Oops, another setback in my anti anti-muslim sentiments project. I will succeed eventually to rid myself of bigotry. But the job is not done yet.
