I have completed week 2 of the Challenge! I bought out Hobby Lobby of Tiffanys paper organizers and bought a couple from another brand on sale. I had to go back later to get a couple more to finish the job:) I created dividers using chipboard and sticky notes. When I was done, I went back and changed some post it notes to the recommended heavy duty plastic stick-on labels. I sorted all my paper, cardstock, and scraps. I kept some small scraps only because the organize your punch class is coming and I could use some of the purged paper instead of tossing it. I was starting with a minimum size of 2 x 2, but now I understand the value of sticking to larger sizes so I made my minimum size closer to 6 x 6 size. (it is hard when each piece is a different shape). I moved the collection into an organized only space and then I could add my paper stacks around the edges. I put my scraps into an expanding pocket page that has 4 different sized pockets; that way my scraps are also separated by size. THE BEST PART: I moved from horizontal storage to vertical storage. My paper shelves hold the same papers they held before PLUS my collection of scrap, 2 paper holders of cardstock, a paper organizer for my patterned paper, my 2 foot pile of paper stacks, and my themed papers!!! I cannot believe the number of empty containers that I have and how wonderful my paper collection looks! I estimate that it freed up 34 of storage by emptying 5 organizers!
