I have connected with many family members from my fathers side of family through Facebook...most of them I dont ever recall meeting...I had one encounter with my father at the age of 6. It amazes me to see these other parts of my genetic make-up...I compare our eyes, our smiles (our fathers are brothers) and try to find our similarities. Not having him in my life is a major void that cant be filled, but yet I am drawn to these cousins and an Aunt who I think, under different circumstances, wouldve made one wonderful family to have!
