I have done the #ALSicebucketchallenge and posted it on my personal page however, I wanted to post something publicly from my professional business page as well. I stand behind this cause whole heartedly and and encourage all of my followers here to do the same. For all of the statements from people about how the ice bucket challenge is annoying or stupid or pointless ... here is a video that you should watch. The challenge is a symbol for the movement, for people to not only dump water on their head and post a video, but to make NOISE for the cause, to raise awareness and ALSO DONATE. Yes, I dumped a bucket of ice water over my head and I donated AS WELL. We are doing it for those who cant and those who are affected by this terrible disease. Its not annoying. For all of the other useless, meaningless, wasteful things being posted all over facebook news feeds all day every day, I am happy to see something with purpose take over the social media world. It holds more weight than your cat videos, e-cards with drawings of women drinking wine, and pictures of what you had for dinner. Hopefully this changes the outlook of those who are uninformed and encourages everyone to take on the challenge, donate, and keep nominating!
