I have faith in humanity! Theres been a ton of talk lately about the nasa study of how we are all screwed if we do not change our ways... Which is true. But whats not being talked about is... The incredible advancement in solar energy combined with Nano technology... Did you know that if we captured an hour of the suns energy we could power the entire planet for a whole year. Then we can talk about vertical farming, where each city will have fresh local food all year round, anything you want to grow. not big machinery, no destruction of land, 6 times less water usage, no pesticides, and consistent crops. We are now living in a world of complete abundance, enough for everyone. but we are a part of a system based on scarcity, structural violence, and planned obsolescence. The only way for this traditional system to keep going is if we the people support it. It reminds me of Einsteins Quote The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch without doing anything. Im taking a stand against all this bullshit, and hope you decide to join the millions of others who are as well. The times of being terrified to go against the system are dead, you have incredible personal power now, from you smart phone you can create butterfly effects all over the world. Ive always loved Rage Against The Machine, and up until lately never truly understood Zack De La Rochas true love for the planet and the people. But now I see, I see the kind of world he fights for and its inspiring. Just remember the system only runs if you support it, and when all of us stand up together it has to change. So Let me tell you why we DONT have free solar energy for all... There is no MONEY in it! Sustainable products that last are no good for big business, so all products/cars/gadgets ext.... are all built to break down fast so you have to buy more, more more.... And all the garbage ends up in landfills or a part of the TEXAS SIZED garbage island floating in the ocean. All while you go deeper and deeper into dept... listen theres a reason why 1% of the worlds population owns 40% of the wealth in this world. This system is built to have winners and losers. Thats cool for sports, but not for the game of life! When a BILLION of our brothers and sisters are starving, and were spending more on war in 8 days then it would cost to feed the hungry for a year. Come on now! I dream of a world without needless suffering, a world of abundance not exploitation, a world we can all be proud to be a part of.... because after all... ...none of us would be here without this amazing planet, its emergent properties give us this gift of life, and its time to GIVE after all weve taken.
