I have felt largely detached from the whole Ferguson saga, and believe my only reference to it at all was probably back in August when the events that would coalesce into the carnival of discontent camped there even now were new, however it is nigh impossible not to be passing informed of the events taking place in the court of law and public opinion both. After reading on CNN (Jeffery Toobin reporting) that prosecutor McCullochs pronouncement of the Grand Jurys finding was whining, innapropriate and embarassing and on Huff Po (Will Bunch reporting) that the man was smug arrogant and repeatedly lashing out in addition to other news agencys commenting on the statement as being bizare and biased I decided to watch it for myself this afternoon interested in spite of myself. . .Ill include a link, but will offer a synopsis in order to save you the twenty six minutes it would take to hear him out. While the man in question seems to be singularly disapproving of the medias role in agitating an ongoing investigation by spreading fear, uncertainty and doubt, there is nothing unreasonable in his conduct or content let alone even remotely resembling justification or cause for any for the above quotes. It is difficult to get good news now, and if this sort of reporting is anything to go by, it will be next to impossible a decade from now.
