I have good friends. Good friends tell you when you really need to do something. I was just going to leave tomorrow at lunch and take Sunnie to her appointment with the radiation doctor. My friend and colleague Donna Moran informed me that I was taking ALL of tomorrow off and taking Sunnie to a good breakfast, a good lunch and spending time with her before we go hear what the radiation doctor has to say. Her tumor does look smaller. I dont think thats wishful thinking. It really does. What has really gone well is her attitude. Every single time I post about whats going on with her cancer treatment, so many of you respond. I break it down by category: SCA, colleagues from Roosevelt, Fremont (then and now), Edison, Pomona High classmates, former students, my angels. :An SCAer said this. A former student wished you the best. People Ive told you about are praying for you. My angels told me they were hoping for the best.It does her so much more good to have that contact. She appreciates each and every good thought, prayer and like from those individuals and groups I mentioned. And so do I. Even you are busy, you let me know. To say you care as often as you do, Im sure helps with her healing. Thank you.
