I have had 2. Frank was a great dog. Incredibly smart.Got him when he was 2 from the pound. Protective, and agreeable to whatever I said. Training took a year or more, but once he had it, we were done. He learned both voice commands and hand signals.He was incredibly stabile.Frank was awesome, but had been severly abused. Casey I inherited as a 5 yr old. Was told she had behaviorale problems, but have trained her like Frank. Consistant, demanding, and stern. She is now the best dog ever./Somewhat terriorial, but once she gets my okay is very accepting. She is going on 8, and I need to find another before she goes, or get a mastiff, which is not cool with my living sit.. They were both all black w a hint of white on chest and tummy. Frank maxed at 110#s; Casey has been an even 95#s. Great dogs....think they should be called Rottnlabs
