I have had a great weekend of gigs with some great musicians that know how to have a musical conversation!!! Nonetheless, the high point of my weekend was when I awoke on Saturday morning at around 6am. I had passed out on the couch, wary from a long week of working the night before fully dressed. Once my internal clock said arise, I walked upstairs and checked on my daughters, a task I normally complete every night. The only other person up was Essence. I say down on her bed and spent Te next 30 plus minutes talking to Essence, just enjoying her wonderful spirit. As Van Hunt would say: "Seconds Of Pleasure". The wonderful music that I was blessed to take part in was simply icing on the cake!!! The main dish was talking to my daughter!
