I have had chance to read most of your postings. I believe we have wasted enough time and breath on the Kyabazinga thing and we all do not want the truth. Here it is and I pray that we all get it clear. 1. The Kyabazinga (Unifier/ Administrator of Busoga as arranged by 5 chiefs and the British administrators in 1939) is HRH William Nadiope Gabula IV. As you can see, his Bugabula throne starts with his Great Grandfather Yosia Nadiope installed by the Bazungu when Naika king (Mutiibwa) of Bugabula was overthrown and imprisoned at Entebbe for refusing to embrace Christianity. 2nd in line was his grandfather Sir WW Kadhumbula who forcefully overthrew Mulooki in 1963, then his father William Nadiope who never reigned and he is the forth in line. He does not make any claims to any Busoga Cultural Heritage and is currently in London studying Business Administration, not visiting ancestors in Busoga hills. This seat is political, it is survival for the fittest, it has claimed so many lives to date (including all three of our ancestors I have just mentioned) and it would help all of us if we read about its history and understood its capabilities and challenges. 2. The Isebantu Mukama of Obwa Mukama bwa Busoga is Edward Columbus Wambuzi. Isebantu because Bulamogi, Bunhya and Kigulu are historically known as the eisaza lya Kintu (What Kintu aka Adam in the English Version left for himself when he apportioned the world to his sons). He was the father of all people and his descendants are called Bantu hence Isebantu (father to all people - a title you will not find anywhere in the world, not even Buganda). This is a hereditary position in culture (obuwangwa) and the last historically recorded cultural Isebantu was Nyiiro Ngobi, father to Obodha Ngobi and son of Walusansa Ngobi, who was killed by Mwaula king of Buganda in the 1650s prior to colonisation. The challenge is we do not write our history hence accepting literature that says Kintu was from Buganda yet he came down from heaven and landed at a hill called Katukiro in Budiope before he settled at Bubulo (Gadumire) and later died at Buswikira (Bunhya) where his shrine is to date. Nambi (English version Eve) on the other hand landed at luweero a place called Waluusi which has been kept sacred by the Baganda, unlike we Basoga who do not value our heritage. Invest some money and go to Budiope around Kagulu Hill and Mawelya (Mawerere Adagas hill) you will be taught that all Badiope/ Bagabula came from Naika who is conveniently left out of our history to fuel the unfounded theory that we came from Bunyoro. Go to Gadumire (Bubulo hill) and you will learn that their ancestor was Nyaikire then lastly go to Buswikila in Bunhya and ask for Kintus last resting place which you will find. Put your pieces together. Every one has their fair share and each of us should keep out of each others share. HRH Gabula, like King Pilate enjoys the political glamour and glory and rightfully so, he has overthrown his predecessors and that is what is done to become a political ruler. Bugembe was built by Bazungu and Igenge by his grandfather Kadhumbula so he is well within his limits. HRH Isebantu is our cultural King Mukama of Busoga. It is immaterial whether he is noticed by the sitting Government, Jesus was never noticed till after his death. The last Known King of Busoga was Obodha at Nasuuti in Kigulu who voluntarily opted out of Government arrangements because they went against Busoga Culture and norms and the place which had his palace still stands where we can build a palace if we need to. All the cultural hills in Busoga are available for us to build a palace, especially Bubulo and Busoga hills. The Obodha family comes from Kintus son whom he gave the Kingship hence if Zibondo is King, then the father has reclaimed the throne which is ok. If Ngobi (Empala Ngobi) is King then it is still the same family and it does not matter if the King is from Buswikira Bunhya or Busambira Kigulu, those were all Kintus sons hence we have to learn to co-exist. Love you all, I hope this helps and does not call for unnecessary words............................. We are all sisters and brothers and responsible for the whole world. Check how many times the name Mukama appears in the bible then you will understand the challenge at hand. Pleeeeeeeeeeaeeeeese we need to move forward. WE NEED BOTH KYABAZINGA (UNIFIER) NADIOPE AND THE ISEBANTU (MUKAMA) WAMBUZI FOR BUSOGA TO DEVELOP!!!! Kings have always reigned with their sons.
