I have heard of two suicides in the last week and one was involved in my family . Death is bad enough but someone taking their own life just drags on in my mind for days and I cant let it go . To be alive is a gift denied to many . However depression is real . I have heard healthy people write it off as just laziness or not caring . No , I have stayed in bed for weeks at a time in my younger days , cried , contemplated suicide and felt extremely hopeless . Its not a simple cut and dry check up from the neck up , it runs much deeper than that . Its heartbreaking . Life is precious and deserves to be lived fully . I hope all of us can get out and truly enjoy the good that life has to offer , and never get to that low place in our mind or hearts . Pay attention to what people say and help them , you may save a life . ~
