I have hurt rumblings of very strong disagreements in our fellowship. I would like to encourage all of you to start with Phil 4:2"I plead with Eudoia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord. Yes, and I ask you , loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers , whose names are in the book of life." I am praying for those involved to step back from the issue and pray that you have discernment in how to resolve the conflict. In Mathew, Jesus tells us to go privately to the involved parties as the first step, then with 2-3 witnesses, then before the whole church. We are not to start with facebook. Also we are to love one another, forgiving whatever grievances we have. I am lifting this up in prayer. "Jesus says in Luke 6:32-36 that if you love those who love you what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you: For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good , and lend , hoping for nothing in return:and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father is merciful." Please let us not give the devil a foothold.
