I have just received the news that my chum Ian McLagan has died in Austin Texas USA yesterday of a stroke. Ian was born in London England May 12th 1945. He was one of the best keyboard players in the world in my estimation. Played in the Small Faces, Rod Stewart and the Faces, which was where I met him in Auckland New Zealand 1973. He signed my record of Coast to Coast, which was their record I sold in NZ as a member of W E A records. He drew a moustace on his picture on the record cover, and also a personal message to me. I forgave him for mutilating my record cover, and tonight I took it out of my collection, looked at it, and played the record as a tribute to Ian. God I´m going to really miss him. R . I . P Ian...
