I have just seen in the news the extent of typhoon Yolandas destruction back in the Philippines. It was beyond tragic. It was unbearable to see how anyone could ever deserve to lose children, husband, wife, mother and father in a matter of hours. I know that there is no amount of words that could ever console our Kababayans at this time of grief and disappointment. But I just want to say that in times when things dont seem to make sense. When we do not get answers to all our questions and when we are going through troubled times and adversities in life. There is always God who is greater than our problems, worries and sorrow. Our Father who will not forsake us or leave us. I remember last Friday during the service the pastor said that in times of our deepest, lowest moments remember to look at the cross and it will be a key to understanding that Jesus just like us also endured pain and suffering not because he deserves it but because he loved us and to save us from all of our sins. We will definitely extend our help whatever we can from here in Dubai. My heart goes to those who have lost their loved ones, may God comfort you in his loving arms and you will always be in my prayers. Come to me, all who labor and who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and low in heart, and you will find rest in your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. MATTHEW 11:28-30
