I have just turned 40 years old. It is a strange feeling indeed. I can remember like yesterday turning 21. It seems like 5 or so years ago. Time is going by so fast - faster every year. I can only tell my friends that life is so very short. Please enjoy your friends and family while you can and live your lives as if each day is your last. Please search your heart and know that time grows short. I am far from perfect - always have been. I have made many mistakes and committed many sins and transgressions. I am the last person who would or should preach to someone else how to live and yes, I am a walking hypocrite. I ask only that if you are reading this, you must know me in some way and I only ask that you read until the end. I will tell you this - Jesus is real and is alive. He loves you just as you are right now! I am not a holy-roller and am the farthest from being that. I love all my friends- gay or straight, faithful or agnostic, conservative or liberal.. it makes no difference. I love you all just as Jesus/God does. I have no judgement of you or others. You shortcomings are between you and the Lord alone - I only hope to be there for support regardless of the issues you are facing. We may disagree, but know that you are all special to me and I am truly thankful for you all. Now, not to be a downer, but as I reach 40, I am thinking of my late father and uncle.
