I have learned a few things dealing with the police. The longer they have been on the force, the more they will lie to you and manipulate you, because they know what they can get away with. ESPECIALLY in a small town, because they can more easily cover for each other. Doesnt mean I havent had to deal with stupid ones because they are new. Called the police once because I was the one being attacked while holding my 2 year old daughter and they threatened to arrest me because they usually take the male. Just make sure you start early with your children so they understand that you cant trust police just because they are police. Only talk to them if you HAVE to and never answer ANY questions accept, what is your name, where do you live, and who are your parents. They are just dangerous people who have the ability to help you if they like you and feel like it that particular day. Make sure they know that making them mad is a terrible mistake because they can actually get away with hurting you and it happens all the time.
