I have learned that liberal logic is based on a handful of behavioral conditions they cant help that are part of their very fabric. Here are examples of some and how they affect them: Shallowness: They have a weak grasp of the various issues they get sucked into. They can easily be sucked onto almost anything. Myopia: After shallowness has sucked them in they become myopic so they cannot see how ridiculous progressive liberal causes are regardless of any rational, reasonable, objective evidence. Emotion: In spite of logic the liberal identity is interlocked with a desperate need to feel good about themselves. That is the source of their hypersensitivity and emotional outbursts. When presented with logic that refutes their views and threatens their ability to feel good about themselves they freak out. We see it on these pages all the time. Self centeredness: Shallowness, myopia, and emotion lead to a need to be self centered. That is why liberals shop at Whole Foods and buy a Prius to save the planet while drooling over their own magnanimity. These heroes with their artificially bleeding hearts have to somehow demonstrate their commitment to saving everyone even though they are not and can not and people dont want to be saved by them. Envy: Also selective outrage. Envy is demonstrated in part by their hate for big business and industry and their love of Hollywood. Both are populated by the fabulously rich. They idolize liberal hacks like Moor and Gore, but fail to recognize or remember that Michael owns 5 mansions, while climate change guru Al flies around in his very own Gulfstream jet. At the same time they disparage Detroit executives for showing up in DC on private jets. Intolerance: Those that speak the most about tolerance are the most intolerant. Because they cant effectively argue with logic, their self defense mechanism becomes intolerance of any view but their own. It is a closet they hide in to avoid being contaminated by common sense. They are blindly intolerant of any ideas but their own. Arrogance: Liberals think they are superior, period. But just like you can keep you health care, period, that period doesnt end it. Even when they are clearly wrong they are too arrogant to admit it and their arrogance forces them to follow every failure to its end regardless of its actual effects. People that deal with liberals learn a few things that helps to handle them. Ask how their grand schemes are going to work and how they affect other things. Liberals hate that and usually go into an emotional frenzy over it. One can try to educate them about reality, but that is usually a dead end. Finally you can just laugh at them and not take them too seriously. After all, they do suffer from a serious psychosis they cant help. While we do need to be vigilant and watch them closely, they also deserve some measure of pity.
