I have lived in Leslie majority of my life. I may only be 23, but I love Leslie. There may be times when I absolutely hate it because its small and of all the stuff that keeps happening. BUT every town is going to have its perk. Everyone just needs to pull togethed and get rid of these idiots who come to Leslie thinking they can ruin this nice little town. I love how everyone comes together to help one another out. I have seen so much since ive been here. We have had 3 house fires and I remember the 2nd I was in 8th grade and a couple girls got together to get people to raise money for us. I was so grateful that middle school kids were willing to even help out. It wasnt the money that counts its the thought that counts. When something happens such as a fire everyone comes out and is nosey but everyone does what they can to help them out. I am just impressed. I dont see other towns do that like Mason, Lansinv, or Jackson for example. We have great people in this town. When we did have our second house fire wr moved to Jackson for a year till we found somewhere in Leslie and I was so grateful that Leslie schools let us do school of choice because I did not want to leave Leslie schools. I love all these projects/activities we do such as the pink hawk project, the book sale at the school, the libraries activities, like the live reindeers, pizza parties. I love how I can feel comfortable walking through town and how everyone waves and smiles at you when you go through town. Everyone is just so nice to you. I love how we are like a family, everyone knows everyone. It truly is a great place to be. Honestly is hurts me to see negative posts and comments because it only makes things worse and makes the town worse. The more positive posts we get is only going to bring more people in and make the town stronger. I love being able to follow up on the news on here. I am just overall greatful to find and be in such a great town. Thank You Leslie family and friends. :)
