I have lived in my house since a young girl and my mother made a lot changes to the house,she decided to leave and sign the house over to me I was only 18 at the time, but was a Council house then and all I got told was to sign on the line,no one came out to see if house was in good order to live in or to see if I was even safe, so then HHP took over,and I got floored with bedroom tax, so they want me to move to a smaller house,but expect me to pay for work I didnt do to the house before I move and a lot of work has been done,so been a single mum on benfits is hard I either pay £50 a month for bedroom tax or pay money I dont have to pay thousands for work I have not done, I feel like was up to them to check the house before anything was signed,they wont fix hole in my kitchen roof cause they say it not up to them to do that, am totally stuck,and angry, well once I move I can assure them that they wont get a penny from me,i will not pay for work I havent done cause they were to lazy to check house over!
