I have lost my own desire for such a penetrating fire My knees so cold and weak My heart tells me to seek, for a solitude away from you, yet i cannot imagine myself without you its true I have given you my hopes and dreams A bitter waste now as I lay along the stream the stream of non existence. Why must it be that I am so alone A chilling of our hearts that later turn to stone. I breath ecstasy upon your lips and drink the elixir by a seductive sip In formal nightmares of trauma I look beyond you in place of your unspoken drama Tell me a lie, and we shall leave again. Further letting go bye. I have lost this desire that you have given me Because time has consumed our life ticking away, never to be free. Rewind the past and show me life ever careful not to use the knife, that has led us to this strife. For I have lost even this desire for a rekindled fire.
