I have never SPIE-rigged, and am no HRST Master, so it is something I know very little about. I dreamed, however, that Morbid was to do a training evolution that required a helo insertion utilizing SPIE-rigging. Tim, you were number three on the rig. Tyler, you were number 1, directly under the bird. I dont remember who else was on the rig, except I know Adam was at the bottom. As the ops chief, I could not be on the rig so, Mike Battery and I stood anxiously inside a tall building next to where the insertion was to take place. The bird gets low enough that all riggers are in plain view of the window we are near. James lets out a yell when he sees Tim fall backwards off of the stack. A secondary rope (keep in mind this is a dream and I have no clue about the details of SPIE rigging) snags tightly catching Tim. Tyler immediately starts giving commands to Adam to pass the bottom of the rope up to him. The chain listens and reacts. Somehow, using this looped rope and Tylers commands Tim gets successfully back on the stack. Tyler releases the bottom of the rope in time for the bird to slowly drop each person to the deck. We all sigh with relief once all six Marines tumble role on the deck and successfully disconnect from the rig. The bird flys away and Mike battery thanks God for another successful training event. I then wake up a little sad, missing my Marines and knowing a pile up on the 5 freeway is the most exciting thing Ill experience for the rest of my life. I miss you Mike Battery 3/11!
