I have never been a Joel Osteen fan. And here is why. I have listened to his motivational speeches on several occasions and literally have to turn off the TV as I can only handle so much of the way he garbles the Bible, makes a mockery of God and is just plain blasphemous. He admitted on a national talk show that he is NOT a minister but a motivational speaker. Ya Think! You can youtube many of his speeches and there are some things that just stand out as so obviously against Gods word that you just shake your head in disbelief! This one absolutely takes the cake, and I hope that people really and truly see how these two are stumbling stones for many.*** Jer 23:30-32 (NIV) Therefore, declares the Lord, I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me. Yes,.. I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare, The Lord declares. Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,.. They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least, declares the Lord.
