I have never seen a little girl more determined to ride the bus in the morning. Warning this is long. Her bus comes at 6:40am - thats what time we wake up so needless to say we drive her to school in the morning. Not to mention it takes her the FULL HOUR of getting her ready in the morning because she is SO SLOW at EVERYTHING. Last night she BEGGED me to wake her up early enough to ride the bus so I set her alarm for 6am (she actually LOVES her alarm being set). At 6am I hear her alarm going off and her yelling MOOOOM so I stumble in the room and shes in her closet saying hurry lets get an outfit I have to catch the bus - I assured her we had plenty of time. She ate, brushed her teeth, got her bookbag together and had 10 min to watch the ipad. I thought we were TOTALLY rocking it.... got up to the busstop (about 6 houses away) and was sitting out there 5 min before I saw the peepee dance.... yup - she forgot to pee. Its a 45 min bus ride minimum to get to school so I knew she wouldnt make it..... so we RAN back to the house.... meanwhile I saw the bus pull up.... She started bawling crying so I assured her we would chase the bus. She peed jumped in the car and we chased the bus for two stops until she got on - but she was a happy camper :) Well that was a dramatic first bus trip to school ;)
