I have no respect for the ANSM, which abuses and distorts the good and valid doctrine of immigration and border control, and uses it as a means to promote anti-Semitism and other forms of racism, particularly against Central-American and South-American peoples. I agree that amnesty to border-jumpers is a crime and aids in the disregard for national borders. I agree that my chances of getting a job just got harder because a bunch of illegals are suddenly citizens. Its not like I was already having a hard time with that. However, that is NOT because of their skin or nationality. Being a Mexican does not make you guilty of job theft. Having tan skin does not mean that you are a bad person. I empathize with the people whose families only know poverty and seek a better life of better opportunities in our nation whose greatest reputation is the validity of the citizens vote and the chance for success within our borders. I understand that the same opportunities are not available in other countries, and to see such dismal odds right next door isnt something Im proud of. However, we have our own problems as it is, and simply opening the border is NOT the solution to those problems. Just because you come from a life of poverty doesnt mean you understand how to fix it. In fact, I trust the upper-class man much more so, because he got to where he is because he knows how to get there. A poverse nation is poverse because it has failed countless times with inadequate tools and uneducated minds governing an uneducated people and discourages the free-thinker who can innovate and invent. With this being said, I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for those who wish to take my views and turn them into a racially-charged argument. My opinions are not racially-based and concern the state of the Mexican nation and the nations south of it. I believe that it is as much our responsibility to keep border-jumpers out as it is the Mexican governments responsibility to keep their own citizens in line. I encourage those considering jumping the border to consider the lives of American citizens and those who have applied for citizenship. The one who steals from the rich and gives to the poor is still a thief. Apply for citizenship the right way. Your turn will come and you will be granted citizenship. Whats more, you will be accepted considerably more by many people for doing it legally than choosing the criminal method and sneaking in through the back. I have no respect for criminals. In my opinion, those who jump the border are even more despicable than the likes of the ANSM and the KKK, because they give validity to the arguments presented by them.
