I have not called 911 in 7 years. Dropped my kids off home. On the way back to my place a man wobbled off balance on the sidewalk. Then fell into the road. I did a U-ie, blocked his body with my car and helped him back up onto the sidewalk. Id seen him around. An intox. I had him stay on the grass while I called for an ambulance. First: Being on the calling side of the phone, I can easily see how Out of Order and Repeated EMD queastions will infuriate citizens. Second: Monroe Ambulance and Ridge Roads Engine 253 -- great reaponse time. 911 Operator was excellent. Turns out he was a trainee. Good job.
