I have now listened to The Endless River twice. (through Spotify I confess. My impression is that it is a pleasent and nice on the ear but not that memorable. It certanly isnt elevator music though. Its not the album of the year perhaps but its an album well worth having. Its not Wish you were here standard of course but its not as bad as More or The Final Cuteither.
