I have one for Nathan Winograd: The cost of pet food and supplies continues to skyrocket. Seriously it has become downright offensive. For cats: even the low-grade cat food is beyond ridiculous. Add in the cost litter, misc supplies and youre easily looking at $100+ per month for ONE cat and that does not include vet care. Obviously this HAS to deter one from adopting a cat, so how does he address this issue?? Again, only one of many reasons to emphasize POPULATION REDUCTION as opposed to pushing for adoptions. Having pets has practically become a luxury!
