I have posted a picture of my daddy as Santa. The beard and belly are real. You know a daddys girl will always brag how great their daddys were and of course Im no exception. . He was the greatest and will always be to me.. but my daddy really was great in many ways. Im sure those who knew him and loved him will agree with me .. Unfortunately, my dad passed away of lymphoma on July 17, 1992. The cancer was in his stomach which caused him to have a large belly.. he used this and grew his beard out for Christmas, dressed as Santa. He visited the elderly in homes and passed out candy canes to kids in the neighborhood while sitting in front of my grandmas home that was all decked out with lights. This became so popular that many people visited and I was even told once that a tour bus even stopped to take pictures. My daddy always got everyone together at grandmas. . I remember all the love and laughs and grandmas delicious food... omg.. I dont ever remember being happier it seems.. I truly truly miss those times. Im trying to pass this along to my kids.. nothing more important than love of family.. but to me love of family is important everyday... to all of my family (and friends).. I love you all... Merry Christmas...
