I have reached an impasse with my indifference towards writing. I feel that I can no longer sustain my lack of interest in it. As such... I have decided to challenge myself. I know that I can write or at least imagine an interesting story and I know I can do the work to share that. If you are good at something then you should do it right? I was thinking about Robert De Niro and John Hurt. these are really great artists but they sometimes appear in small projects and just keep churning them out. I think they get a lot of flak for that... but I think that is what you are supposed to do if you are an artist right? no matter how hard it is or how little you are rewarded for it... it is the act itself that defines you. Id like to be defined as a writer. I think thats important to me. As such... and after a lot of thought... I have decided to write. The question is, what? Well as I said before... I like to challenge myself. Im going to start writing 2 books at the same time. These books are both completely unrelated and both will be released as serials as I did with Ethan Eternal. Ill also be doing audio versions and eventually releasing them as full novels. Oh and they are also both sequels... So just to clarify, I am going to begin work immediately on: The Perry Long Saga Part 2: Michael Maritus and Deceit and Conquest Volume 2: Vyr Before I start releasing chapters though... Im going to do an audio and serial version of the 1st D&C book. If you are interested, you can read more about it and buy the book online. Its available lots of places like Google, Amazon and Barnes and noble. The home is on Lulu though and you can find it here: lulu/us/en/shop/cyrus-martin/deceit-and-conquest-volume-1-seor/ebook/product-17558677.html Thanks everyone. Just getting started on this again. More news soon. -Cy
